Ain’t Nobody’s Business If I Do
When Daphne finds an engagement ring in Martin's underwear drawer, she immediately informs Frasier and Niles, who had no idea how serious things had become between Martin and his girlfriend Sherry.
Concerned that his father could be making a terrible mistake if he marries Sherry, Niles hires a private detective to investigate Sherry's past. When Martin gets wind of what Niles has done, Niles agrees to stop the investigation -- but not before Frasier reads some of the detective's report and learns that Sherry has had a string of husbands. Will Martin be next?
Armed with Sherry's rocky romantic history, Frasier confronts Martin, who reveals that Sherry told him about everything long ago. What's more, Martin tells Frasier that he and Sherry recently agreed to part ways when they couldn't agree on a future together. Their heart-to-heart talk shows Frasier that he and his father have a lot more in common than either man would ever like to admit.
