Perspectives on Christmas
Martin is roped into playing a singing wise man at a church Christmas pageant, but he wants to keep the performance a secret from Daphne for fear that she'll attend. However, Martin's secrecy about his frequent visits to the church leads Daphne to believe Martin is dying, though he's eventually able to assure her he's fine!
In the meantime, en route to Frasier's Christmas Eve party, Niles gets stuck in Frasier's elevator and must climb out onto the elevator shaft in his expensive, tailored Italian suit to go for help. Frasier's not faring much better -- not knowing that Roz hasn't told her mother about her pregnancy, he blabs the news to Mrs. Doyle, much to Roz's chagrin.
A motley crew convenes at Frasier's place for the party: Roz is furious at Frasier for spilling her secret; Martin is annoyed by his off-key singing at the Christmas pageant; and a grease-covered Niles staggers in late, his suit in tatters. Frasier then announces that the best present he could give everyone would be to tell them how much they mean to him -- but quickly thinks better of his plan and offers them gift certificates for massages instead.
