The 1000th Show
Seattle is abuzz with plans to celebrate the 1000th broadcast of Frasier's radio show. While outwardly feigning humility and disinterest over all the fuss, Frasier is secretly thrilled to be the center of attention. Not only will there be a public rally in his honor at the foot of Seattle’s famous Space Needle, the mayor plans to proclaim "Frasier Crane Day" throughout the city.
Niles agrees to accompany Frasier to the rally, but is barely able to contain his jealousy over Frasier's big day. Arriving in town with time on their hands, Niles and Frasier decide to do a little shopping and walk to the rally, thereby setting in motion a series of catastrophes that almost prevents Frasier from getting to the event in time.
Meanwhile, over at the Space Needle, Roz does her best to "stall" the start of the rally, distracting the crowd with testimonial speeches about Frasier given by Martin and Bulldog. In the end, Frasier arrives too late to truly enjoy the adulation of his fans.
