With contract negotiations drawing near, Frasier learns that Roz has hired his shark-like agent Bebe Glaser to broker her new deal. Fed up with Bebe's cutthroat ways, Frasier opts to enlist the services of the nicest agent in town, Benjamin Dover.

The decision seems to pay off when Ben arranges for a new crane to be named after Frasier at the Mercer Island Zoo. Frasier is delighted to be associated with such a worthy cause -- but horrified when Martin gets into a fight with the bird during the crane-naming ceremony, and the event becomes a media and public relations disaster.

With negative publicity swirling around him, Frasier becomes the butt of local jokes and begins to doubt whether Ben is really the kind of heavyweight agent he'll need to secure a lucrative new contract. After careful consideration -- and no small amount of pressure from Bebe -- Frasier drops Ben and signs up with her after all.
