Dark Side of the Moon
In a series of flashbacks with an anger management therapist, Daphne reviews the chain of events that led her to cause a four-car accident. It all began when Donny threw a bridal shower for Daphne, and surprised her by flying in her “favorite” brother, Simon, from England. Unfortunately, Simon is actually the freeloading sibling that she despises the most.
Livid at having to play host to Simon in the tense days before her we dding, Daphne’s mood goes from dark to pitch black the more time she spends with him. The one night Daphne thinks she has to herself turns into a disaster when Simon brings his drunken buddies over, and orders Daphne to wait on them.
The climax of the evening comes when a neighbor ruins Daphne’s favorite dress in the laundry room, just as Donny pops in to introduce her to his parents. Furious with her neighbor, she hurls the woman’s laundry basket off the balcony, causing four cars to collide on the street below. Later, Daphne’s therapist is able to get to the real roots of her bizarre behavior: Daphne is engaged to Donny, but she thinks she may be in love with Niles.
