The Dog That Rocks the Cradle
Martin’s plans to attend a funeral lead Niles to discuss his desire to secure a plot in Seattle’s toniest cemetery, Verdant Hills. Since Roz is working at Frasier’s condo, they order out for a pizza, which to their surprise is delivered by their former radio colleague, Bulldog. Desperate for a babysitter, Roz offers the job to Bulldog, who eagerly accepts.
Although Bulldog is great w ith little Alice, Roz is annoyed when he keeps bringing up the fling that they had a year ago. While she’s dressing, her date show s up, and a jealous Bulldog threatens him and chases him aw ay. A few days later, Roz tells Frasier that two dates have inexplicably dumped her that week and she doesn’t know why. Nearby, Bulldog scares off another potential suitor.
Niles is delighted to score a plot at Verdant Hills, but all the funeral talk gets Martin to thinking. He asks Frasier and Niles to accompany him to his cemetery, where he proudly informs his sons that he’s bought two adjacent plots for them. Back at Roz’s place, she overhears Bulldog bullying another date. To get to the bottom of things, Roz seduces Bulldog and when he’s naked, locks him out on her porch. Bulldog admits he only drove away her dates because he loves her, but Roz makes it clear that she’s not interested.
