Cranes Go Caribbean
Frasier and Claire’s romantic vacation becomes a family affair when Niles, Daphne and Martin decide to join them.
Daphne overhears Frasier and Niles discussing a vacation in Belize, and mistakenly assumes Niles is whisking her away to the Caribbean. Actually, Frasier is planning to take his new girlfriend, Claire, on their first trip. Initially, Claire is reluctant for their relationship to move so quickly, so Frasier offers his reservation to Niles. Unfortunately, after Niles accepts, Claire changes her mind, forcing Frasier to scramble for a room.
Minutes later, Martin announces that he and his buddy, Duke, have booked a fishing expedition to Belize. Frasier’s irritation at having his family horn in on hisromantic getaway worsens when he and Claire miss their flight because their friend Lana gets into a fender-bender while driving them to the airport. Long after Martin, Daphne and Niles have happily settled in, a grumpy Frasier arrives with Claire, only to find that their luggage has been lost and the hotel has given their suite away.
That evening, Frasier’s foul mood sours a festive family dinner and causes Claire to leave the table. Back in their room, Frasier sees Claire’s open suitcase and fears she’s packing to leave. Instead, Claire emerges from the bathroom wearing a slinky negligee. They make up – and make love. Yet when Frasier later awakens from a sexy dream about Lana, he phones the only person he trusts to analyze it: Lilith. Despite Frasier’s protestations that Claire is perfect for him, Lilith believes Frasier secretly lusts after Lana…and he realizes he’s got some serious thinking to do.
