Hip Hop Happy Hour: Bratty Mary

This week, we’re celebrating two events for Hip Hop Happy Hour – an all-new episode of Growing Up Hip Hop: Atlanta, and one of our favorite holidays, Halloween! WE knew we had to brew a potion this that’s perfect for our Halloween bash, and perfect to celebrate one of our favorite hip hop legends, Da Brat. Da Brat always tells it like it is, giving Bow Wow the hard truth, and occasionally, giving him the kick in the a$$ he needs. So, sit back, relax, and grab these ingredients to try our new twist on a Bloody Mary, the Bratty Mary, guaranteed to give your Halloween the kick it needs!

Recipe: The Bratty Mary

6 Servings

6 ounces tomato juice
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire
3 shakes hot sauce (more to taste)
1 small wedge lime
Salt & pepper to taste
6 ounces vodka
6 drops black food coloring
6 tiny lime wedges for serving

  • Combine tomato juice, Worcestershire, hot sauce, lime juice, and salt and pepper. Pour into each of 6 shot glasses.
  • Combine vodka and food coloring – mix well.
  • Slowly pour blackened vodka over the back of a spoon into each shot glass to keep liquids separated.
  • Add a small lime wedge to each shot class and enjoy your shooters in one swig!

Spice things up with the Bratty Mary, sit back, and enjoy the all-new episode coming your way!
