Low-key country couple, Tashia and Wes Owen thought they picked the perfect quaint wedding hall with all the accoutrements, that was until they arrived there the morning of the wedding. The venue was filled with garbage, the lights were still up from Christmas, there was lawn-chairs for the ceremony, and it was a sweltering 100 degrees inside. The couple quickly cleaned up and went forward with the ceremony, but a string of bad luck followed them... Wes fainted not once, but two times during the ceremony!
Tashia was mortified and Wes was humiliated. The reception just continued the trend -the wedding cake melted, no one danced, the catering was cold, and everyone left by 8pm. That one special day that every bride dreams of still makes Tasha break into tears and has affected their marriage 5 years later.
Wedding Designer, Diann Valentine surprises this woeful couple with their dream wedding! She plans a fantasy filled I DO OVER like none other. But this simple bride and extravagant wedding designer don't exactly see eye to eye when it comes to planning. Diann has to prove to Tashia that she knows best, and that it's okay to be pampered sometimes!
Dress shopping is anything but easy when your bride has never been pampered. And things get particularly hairy when the couple goes for their cake tasting. The bride wants wood on her cake, but Diann has better ideas! No bride is getting wood on my cake! It's a love hate affair at times, but in Diann Valentine fashion every couple gets the perfectionist treatment- even if the couples know what's good for them at the time.
Diann decides that since fainting and nerves was at the forefront last time, she better take precautions and calm her grooms nerves this time around. She sets up a rehearsal. Wes hopes that he can calm his wife's fears that this re-do celebration will be flawless! In a twist of fate- it's not the husband that has everyone worried on wedding day, but the bride as she breaks down at the altar!
