TV Personality, Toya and music producer, Mickey “Memphitz” Wright fell hard and fast for each other at an album release party, but their marriage has yet to go platinum. While the couple, whose wedding aired on Toya: A Family Affair, are technically together, they have spent the last six months living separate lives…literally. Memphitz thinks Toya is selﬁsh and insists that having his own space is what’s best for him. Toya feels that Memphitz has too many demands in the bedroom, and she’s not able to meet them. Since she’s been in the spotlight, Toya has made a name for herself as an author, designer and theatre actress. Her first book, Priceless Inspirations made her a NY Times best-selling author and she released her second novel, How to Lose a Husband earlier this year. She currently runs The Garb Boutique in Atlanta along with The Garb Shoetique in New Orleans and recently made her acting debut in the stage play Love Don’t Pay the Bills.

At an early age, Mickey was mentored by entertainment and music legends LA Reid, Jermaine Dupri, Mark Pitts and Sean “DIDDY” Combs which kick-started his career. As one of the youngest music executives of Arista/Jive Records, Mickey is responsible for bringing artists such as T-Pain, YoungBloodZ and K. Michelle to the forefront of the music scene. Mickey is currently pursuing a variety of business opportunities that include DJ’ing as well as stepping into the photography world.
