David Tutera approaches every wedding with an open heart and an open mind. But few stories have touched David as much as bride Wendy and groom Rocky’s. This couple put their wedding plans on hold when Wendy’s teenage son, Ryan, received a life-threatening diagnosis of cancer. Thankfully, Ryan’s cancer is now in remission, and this generous young man wants to pay his good fortune forward. Ryan asked the Make-A-Wish Foundation® to bring David Tutera to Topeka, Kansas, to give his mom the wedding she’s been waiting for. But Wendy’s dress is a disaster, and so are the rest of the wedding details. Now David has six days to create a wedding like nothing Topeka has ever seen before!
