In the season premiere of My Fair Wedding with David Tutera: Unveiled, our host is pushed to his limit by an over the top, burlesque bride-to-be. David Tutera has faced off with temperamental brides before, but this time he may have met his match. Bride-to-be Sophia knows what she wants for her big day, which, among other things, includes tassels, feather fans and no compromises. Much like the red latex dress she intends on wearing at the ceremony, there is very little give. The man in her life is fully supportive of her non-traditional ideas, unfortunately, he’s not her fiancé. He’s Bobbie, the Man of Honor, and he has decided to usurp David as wedding planner. At every turn, Bobbie challenges David’s ideas and asserts his own over-the-top vision. Allie’s actual fiancé, Anthony, wants to be supportive of his bride-to-be’s burlesque-themed nuptials but knows his conservative family will object to the bright lights, bold colors and the Man of Honor stripping at the reception. It’s up to David to keep Bobbie on a leash while creating a beautiful wedding that reflects Sophia’s untraditional vision. But when the bride-to-be breaks down at her dress fitting and tells our host that she hates everything he is suggesting, David and his team aren’t sure they can get this extraordinary wedding back on track. The gauntlet has been thrown, the pasties are off and the battle for control is on.
