Through the years of being a smart aleck brooding teen, Darlene finally rises to the occasion when she is accepted into an art college in Chicago. She too will eventually get married and to none other than Mark’s little brother, David (Johnny Galecki), who for a while becomes another son to the Conners as he lives in their home for several years.
