Shannen Doherty has been an unforgettable face in Hollywood since her breakthrough role on the classic 90s series “Beverly Hills 90210.” This fall, Shannen begins a new chapter of her life on the latest WE tv docu-series, “Shannen Says,” which chronicles the planning of her 2011 wedding to photographer, Kurt Iswarienko.
Shannen made a name for herself at a young age after she landed a major role starring in “Little House: A New Beginning” as Jenny Wilder. Shannen’s career really took off when she landed the role of Brenda Walsh on the popular teen drama “Beverly Hills 90210” at age 19. She remained on the show for four years, earning two Young Artist Award nominations for Best Young Actress in a Television series, and she recently revised her role as Brenda in the CW network’s spin-off version of the show called “90210.” After “Beverly Hills 90210,” Shannen starred alongside Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs for three successful seasons, as Prue Halliwell, the eldest sister on the hit show “Charmed” from 1998-2001.
On the big screen, Shannen starred in “Mallrats” and played Heather Duke, alongside Winona Ryder and Christian Slater in the 80s hit “Heathers.” In 2010, Shannen released her own book called Badass: A Hard-Earned Guide to Living Life with Style and (the Right) Attitude.
