About Paige Adkins
At age 25, Paige is the eldest of Sinbad’s two children, and knew early on that she was destined for the stage. Paige’s childhood love of writing short stories and poems quickly turned into penning songs. Itching to pursue a singing career, she continued to train in music but followed her parents’ wishes and attended Arizona State University, where she majored in Journalism. But Paige quickly realized her passion was singing and left after her sophomore year.
She became a member of the Christian rock/pop/urban group Press Play, which hit the Billboard 200 at No. 45 and was ranked No. 2 of Billboard's Top Christian Albums in 2009. After touring for a year and performing on major outlets such as the “Today Show” and “Fox & Friends,” Paige decided to pursue a solo career, and mom Meredith became her manager. Paige has since opened for Erykah Badu, Macy Gray and Sean Kingston, and completed a recent tour of military bases in Europe, sharing the stage with her comedian dad. Her debut album, “Imperfect Me,” was released in November 2010.
