Having fallen on hard financial times, Sinbad strives to tighten the family budget. But he and Meredith remain determined to help daughter Paige launch a singing career.
This is the last show of the season people and believe me it has taken a toll on this family.
OK, I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not the world’s greatest plumber. My dad always cracks jokes on my generation about how we can’t cook or fix anything, but I feel it is my duty to lay down some truth on this one.
If something was going to go wrong, it went wrong this week. We all have had days like these, I’m sure, from time to time.
It’s the season finale of Sinbad: It’s Just Family, and Sinbad’s mishaps are funnier than ever!
The family is shooting guns, fighting combat and taking trapeze lessons in this episode of Sinbad:It’s Just Family!
Can you believe we are now at show five….wow the trip is almost over, unlessss they decide to pick us up? It has been a great ride with the family. This show was a breakthrough for us in many ways.
Ever since I can remember I’ve always had an interest in martial arts. I used to love watching Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Jet Li, but it wasn’t until I saw Blade with Wesley Snipes that I decided to pursue it.
I call this our breakthrough episode. Cabin fever has definitely set in and we are all feeling like we need to do something different. In true Adkins style, whatever we come up with is always out of the box.
Okay this is the show where you get to meet where I come from. You meet my father and mother and nephew, etc.
My dad’s old house was infamous for BBQ gatherings. Friends and family would come over on certain holidays for some good wholesome fun.
Dealing with the pressure of supporting all four family members, issues with the IRS, and constantly having to work to grind out a living, Sinbad and the family realize it’s time to tighten their financial belts. To help free up some space and make a little cash on the side, they hold a yard sale where Paige, to her dad’s surprise, sells a dinner with Sinbad to a strange couple.
Later, Sinbad and Meredith meet with a financial planner to discuss how they can better live within their means. Most importantly, Sinbad and Meredith angle to launch Paige’s independent singing career, even while operating on a strict budget. (Click here to visit Paige's iTunes page.)
Paige and Meredith are forced to cut some costs while putting together an EPK to help get her name and brand out in the music world.
