I was excited to prepare for Peyton and Sydney’s Birthday Party, hosted by Wishes Upon Wishes. Melissa Stinson, the owner of the company, was Peyton and Sydney’s first nanny, and we are still very close to this day.

Who doesn’t like wine? I like it, as long as it’s just wine. But in the case of our “wine tour moms night out” it was anything but “just wine.” I was really looking forward to the Grapevine Wine Tour with the girls.

I was really looking forward to the Wine Tour…until ‘life happened’. Joe and I had been up ’til 3am with friends, painting our kids’ new rooms. I was sore, tired, and sick of filming for the show by this point…

With all of the recent stress and tension among our group, I decided it was time for a day away from our children and spouses to relax and attempt to reconcile hurt feelings.

I was excited to go on the wine tour that Candace had planned for us ladies. I felt bad about the whole Hooters issue and I was hoping the wine tour would be a place where we could all have fun and just clear the air.
