The morning of Savannah’s surgery has arrived and Suz is a wreck. Her three boys have the stomach flu, which means Suz’s husband, Joe, will have to stay home. This is first surgery he has missed and Suz is not looking forward to going through the day alone. As Savannah is prepped for surgery, Suz gets more and more anxious about the moment they take her away. In the past, Savannah has screamed and thrashed uncontrollably, and Suz doesn’t know how to cope without Joe by her side.

It’s a rocky start to the morning at Stephanie’s house as she and Jerald bicker incessantly. The morning goes from bad to worse when Stephanie realizes that her female dog is in heat and has left a trail of blood throughout the house. While Stephanie tries frantically to clean up the mess, Jerald has to separate the dogs for fear that they might end up with puppies sometime soon. The last thing Stephanie wants to deal with is more multiples in the house.

Meanwhile, Candace has planned a birthday bash for her triplets’ 4th birthdays. She invites the other multi-mamas to bring their kids as well, although Stephanie is left off the guest list. At the party, the other moms can’t help but notice that Teryn’s kids are running absolutely wild. Without her husband there to help her, Teryn is obviously out of her depth.

Single mom of twins, Tonia, is working hard to establish her home organization business. She’s excited to be speaking at a bridal convention this week. The morning of the convention, Candace is by Tonia’s side, helping her prepare. But the day takes on a bittersweet tone as the nature of the convention brings up raw emotions from Tonia’s divorce.

As Stephanie and Jerald contemplate getting both dogs fixed as soon as possible, Stephanie brings up the idea of Jerald getting snipped as well.  Jerald thinks that Stephanie should be the one to have surgery since he would still like to have more children. Stephanie vows to win this fight eventually.

At the end of the week, all the moms get together to let loose. Stephanie complains about Jerald refusing a vasectomy and the other Mamas boast that their husbands have already gone under the knife. The talk then turns to sex and birth control and the women compare notes on what does and doesn’t happen in their respective bedrooms.
