In 1969, Kelly, then a young girl pregnant with her first son, Christopher, made the difficult decision to give him to a couple who could provide him with a better life. She knew nothing of the adopted parents, other than the fact that they had other children. A few years later, she met her future husband, and they had a son, Ricardo. Kelly told Ricardo about his half brother around the time he entered the first grade. Ricardo would like to meet his brother and establish a relationship with him. Christopher, whose parents raised him as Brock, has searched for his birth family for many years, but has not been successful in locating them.

The Searchers: Ricardo Rico, Kelly Vickmark - Kelly gave up her first son, Christopher, at birth. Ricardo, the morning deejay on KPTY 93.3 in Houston, has been married for 10 years and has two children. Ricardo always thought it was "so cool" that he had an older brother somewhere. 

The Searchees: Brock, aka Christopher - Brock is married with five children, and is a Technical Sergeant for the California Air National Guard, stationed in San Jose. He actively searched for his birth family from 1996 to 2002, but could not get enough information from the adoption agency. His adopted father has always supported his desire to meet his birth family, but his adopted mother has always been more skeptical.
