Carol’s daughter Holly desperately wants to find her mother’s firstborn and only son Warren. In 1980, a week before Warren’s second birthday, his father came to pick him up for visitation; Carol never saw her son again. She tried to find him, but she ran into roadblocks along the way. Carol wants nothing more than to be reunited with her son and tell him that not a day goes by that she doesn’t think about him.

Holly Knapp and Carol Nelson - Carol, 51, and her daughter Holly, 22, live in Rome, New York. Carol searched over the years for any trace of Warren--at one point she thought that she had found his father’s address in Fort Myers, Florida. Carol sent cards and letters, hoping they would reach him, but they were always returned. Holly has made a promise to her mother that she will help reunite her with Warren before she leaves this world.
Warren Stone III - He lives in Cape Coral, Florida, with his wife Jennifer and their three young sons. Warren, 30, grew up without a mother figure in his life, and he has always wondered what things would have been like if that had not been the case. He believes that his mother abandoned him and has feelings of anger toward her.
