A Dying Wish
Warren Withrow has been living with the guilt of not making good on the dying wish of his best friend, Tracy. In the early 90s, Tracy was diagnosed with HIV and wanted to find a loving home for her daughter, Sarah, before she grew too ill to take care of her. Warren helped Tracy every step of the way, and once Tracy found the perfect family for Sarah, her one wish was that Warren stay in her life to make sure Sarah was all right. Tracy eventually passed away and Sarah drifted out of Warren's life. Years later, Warren felt that he was given a sign from Tracy and knew that it was time to find Sarah.
Warren Withrow - He has been actively searching for Sarah for over five years. Through his search he ended up finding Tracy’s real sister who had been looking for Tracy for more than 30 years. Warren and Tracy’s sister have since become very close. Warren, 43, and his wife Alessandra have a 2-year-old son. For most of Warren’s career he has worked in children’s educational programming.
Sarah Okuma - At the age of four-and-a-half, Sarah, now 20, was placed in the care of the Cuske family. Her mom, Tracy, passed away almost a year after the adoption. The last time Warren saw Sarah was at Tracy’s funeral.
