Almost 25 years ago, Mary and her husband Clement went through a dark period after they were told that Mary was unable to have children. Mary jumped at the chance to take in a neglected two-year-old girl, Tamisha, as an emergency foster-care placement. What began as a temporary placement became an unbreakable bond. Miraculously, two years later, Mary gave birth to a baby girl. They were a big happy family until one day, without warning, Social Services took seven-year-old Tamisha out of their home. Today, Mary still has Tamisha in her heart and she wants her to know that she is heartbroken at how things turned out. Mary’s daughter Lachaya contacted Troy in the hopes of finding Tamisha.

The Searchers: Lachaya, seeking her mother Mary’s foster daughter—Mary knows that when Social Services removed Tamisha from the family, she didn’t understand why it was happening. Mary would love to be able to share what really happened in the hopes of giving Tamisha understanding and closure. Lachaya knows that this reunion will help her mother let go of the grief that she has been carrying all these years.
