The Searcher: Jerry Sloop - We had all but given up hope of ever seeing our little brother again. Then one day my wife and I saw a commercial for troy the locator and decided to give it a try. The next thing we knew they called us back, wanting to know the whole story.

They asked if we would like to do the show. It was hard to talk my mom into doing this she had lots of doubts. Soon the TV crew was here and the rest is history. Troy came to the house to meet the family, it was amazing. While he was in town he came by a family dinner that we were having and gave us the best news ever. He had indeed found our little lost brother. When we asked where he was his words were "standing right behind you" that was the best gift anyone ever gave us. I will never forget Troy and all the team did to bring our family back together after 36 years of not knowing where he was. My mom and sister had looked for years. I was blessed to be the one to see him on TV. We will never be able to thank him.

We stay as close as we can and Mike will be home in eight weeks to visit. We can hardly wait. Next year he will move home to be with all of us.

The Searcher: Marcia Kellems - In 1994, my search for my youngest son just became so heart breaking I could no longer carry on by myself. At that time my daughter asked if I would let her try to find her little brother. Along with my Father she set out to try and find him. She wrote to hundreds of Mike Petersons, all over the U.S. also contacting the BMV in several states. My father followed up on several leads by driving to Utah. All their attempts were in vain.

Then one night my oldest son and his wife were watching TV when an ad came on for 'The Locator.' They went to the computer and sent out an e-mail. Soon thereafter, they received phone calls and e-mails. They were so excited, but I was very scared that this would also be a heart break for me.
