WE AMBASSADORS

Isabel Kallman Bio
Isabel Kallman is the Founder and CEO of Alpha Mom. Isabel launched Alphamom.com in 2006 with the desire to help moms embrace motherhood with confidence and has since created one of the most influential parenting site. She has been called "the Martha Stewart of parenting," and the term "Alpha Mom" has become a category generic for the ultimate influencer.
Alpha Moms, a group which represents 11 million moms today, control $500bn in household purchasing power and are at least 50% more influential than other online moms. Most recently Forbes named Alphamom.com one of the top 10 mom websites. Isabel has been on the covers of New York Magazine and the Money Section of USA Today as well as been featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, and in the pages of Advertising Age, US News & World Report, Entrepreneur Magazine, Redbook, the NY Post, the Chicago Tribune, and The Detroit Free Press, to name a few. Prior to founding Alpha Mom, Isabel worked on Wall Street for a decade but retired from her Senior Vice-President-level position in 2003 to raise her infant son, Ryland who is now 6-years old.
24 hours to community service
Erin Scottberg Bio
Erin Scottberg is a journalist living in Brooklyn, NY. When she moved to New York City after graduating from the University of Illinois, the Chicago-area native found that volunteering was a great way to meet new people, experience new things and really put her money where her mouth is. Whether it was walking dogs for a local foster agency on the weekends or doing manual labor (or just handing out flyers) for the local Rooftops Films http://www.rooftopfilms.com/ project, volunteering helped her figure out her place in her new environment. For the past year and a half, she's been one of the driving forces behind the MacDella Cooper Foundation http://macdellacooper.org/, a non-profit that works to provide education, shelter, food and the necessities of life for orphans and abandoned children in Liberia. The organization is currently building the first public, tuition-free boarding school in post-Civil-War Liberia. For Erin, it's a chance to combine her interests in sustainable architecture (the entire school is being built with the local environment and material in mind), accessible technology and the power of the individual to change the world with her belief that education is a right, not a privilege. An interesting aspect of MCF is that the charity is heavily intertwined with the fashion industry, so it's a different take on fundraising. Erin also works with local, grassroots campaigns to inform her community, advocate for their rights and help people figure out how they can help make a difference.
Erin works fulltime as the community editor at Lemondrop.com, a women's lifestyle blog. You can follow her work for MCF on Twitter @MCF_Liberia, read her writing on Lemondrop.com and check her out at erinscottberg.com.
