Below are two fun Thanksgiving projects that both kids and adults can enjoy:
1. Last year Balancing Beauty and Bedlam started a new tradition of baking Thanksgiving Gratitude Rolls. As each guest arrives, they write a few things they are thankful for on small sheets of paper. Using Pillsbury Crescent Dinner Rolls, the papers are baked into the rolls.
You can see photos of how to make the rolls on the Balancing Beauty and Bedlam post, as well as on the from glitter to gumdrops post, Thanksgiving Traditions Idea: Gratitude Rolls.
2. The blog cup-a cup-a, writes that they started a new Thanksgiving tradition this year by creating a Thankful Tree. They placed branches from their yard in a jar to be the “tree.” Then, each family member wrote down things they were thankful for on small pieces of paper to hang on the tree.
The Blissful Domestic blog explains how to make a thankful tree out of poster board, in the post Grow Thankfulness in your family this Thanksgiving. The Homework, Today’s Assignment: Be Inspired blog also has a tutorial for how to make a Thanksgiving Tree.
Do you have special traditions for expressing gratitude on Thanksgiving?
