Although Jim recommends the pampered and pre-arranged experience for some honeymooners, his own was more of a Choose-Your-Own Adventure. If you’ve got two weeks to spare, a reasonable budget and flexible standards (i.e. one night you might B+B it, while the next you bunk in a 16th century castle), a European road trip is a must-do. Germany, where Jim started, is incredibly scenic — and from there, you can drive over the border to Denmark, France, the Czech Republic and many more countries.
