Groom’s Name & Age: Robert, 24
Groom’s Occupation: Mathematics Teacher

How long have your been dreaming of your wedding day? I have been having fantasies about my wedding ever since I was around the age of 16, where I would meet my Ramses. I envisioned that I would get married under water; however, that seems unrealistic. I currently fascinate on having a Egyptian Goddess wedding theme that includes tall white columns, musical sounds of harps flowing through the atmosphere, gorgeous pigments of gold accenting the decor, and roses being thrown before my feet – you know the whole "Coming to America" experience. INTRODUCING "PHARAOH BRITTANY!"

What is the approx. wedding budget? $7,000

Who’s paying for the wedding? Currently Robert and I are paying for the wedding; however Robert's aunt and uncle were gracious enough to donate their illustrious residence. In truth my father could be a lot more supportive and contribute, but unfortunately he doesn't – tear.

What happens if you go over budget? There is no going over the budget! Even though I want the Egyptian Goddess Wedding, I know I can achieve the look through a feasible budget.

Did you hire a wedding planner?  How are they doing? This is another reason why I feel like I need a personal assistant – I am the wedding planner! In truth, I wish I had more help.

How helpful has the groom been (or not) in the planning process? Robert has not, I repeat NOT, been very helpful. He jokes around extremely too much. For an example, when I ask him what would you like to have on the menu at the reception? He replies "Let's just have our wedding on Tuesday and tell the guests to stop at Popeyes and get the two for Tuesday special (2 pieces of dark piece chicken) for 99 cents." I am thinking to myself, can the guest at least get a biscuit? lol. I really wish he would take our wedding more seriously!

Tell us about your family. How have they been involved in the planning process? My mother has been very supportive; I can always depend on her to calm me down when I am feeling like I am on level 10 (Definition – level 10 is a state of mind where you feel stressed to the highest degree). My mother has helped me with the cake, decor, invitations, dress, and etc. If she wasn't in the picture I would truly be a walking mental case. She is basically the only person in my family helping me with the wedding – which is quite sad being that I come from a huge family.

Have you or your groom been married before?  Any children? If so, what role will the kids play on the wedding day? Heeell, no; there have been no previous marriages nor children. What do I look like? I must be the one and only when it comes to marriage. Now when it comes to children, there will be no baby mama drama in my life.

What’s the worst thing that could go wrong on your wedding day? The worst thing that could go wrong is that I do not look like an A-list celebrity. I would be devastated if my hair, make up, and dress weren't on point – damn near cancel the wedding.

What disagreements have come up about the wedding?   Robert pretty much lets me do whatever makes me happy. So there are no disagreements; however there are arguments because I feel that he doesn't take the wedding seriously and is always joking around. For an example; what is on the menu Popeyes chicken, Papa John's Pizza, and BBQ – Reeaaalllyyyy! Even worse, fried chicken and watermelon – I CAN'T TAKE IT!!

Has the engagement/wedding ever been called off, or in jeopardy?  If so, what happened and how did it get resolved?    NO!! This is a done deal!!

Define the type a bride you will be:  I don't have multiple personality disorder; however I am a Gemini so my mood changes constantly. I am very controlling when it comes to how I want things to look, especially my appearance and the presentation of the wedding – I am a girl that knows what she wants and also how to get it. I show signs of being neurotic when things don't go my way and I result to going to level 10. I am very demanding of my finace, when it comes to the things I feel that he is obligated to do.
