How long have your been dreaming of your wedding day?  What was/is your Dream Wedding: I have literally dreamed of my wedding since I was a little girl. The details, the people who would be involved in it. I’ve known exactly how I wanted everything.  The only thing that ever changed was the groom LOL.  I have been getting bridal magazines since I was 12.

Approx. Wedding Budget: Between 15-20,000 MAX!

Who’s paying for the wedding? Me and Marlon, hopefully some family members will chip in but doubtful.

Who’s in Charge of Budget? Marlon’s a stickler on the financials.

What happens if you go over budget? It would really suck…and I don’t really want to start off our life together with a ton of debt so hopefully we don’t.

Describe your dream wedding dress: I absolutely love my dress! It looks vintage, it’s completely lace, strapless with a studded belt at the waist.  When I put it on I had that OMG moment and my best friend was like that’s the one.

Who chose the rings?  What’s the story behind the rings? We chose the rings together.  I wanted something classy but not ginormous.  I wanted it to sparkle and shine and it does. I have like dwarf hands so it couldn’t be anything too big or it would look ridic!  He was super cute when he picked his ring. It is a band with 2 white diamonds as well as a pink sapphire. I was like seriously you are gonna put a pink stone in your wedding band and he said it was only appropriate since he was marrying me…He’s a keeper!

# of Guests attending: The list is impossible. I was trying for 100 but it looks closer to 150.
# in Wedding Party: 8

How long have you been planning wedding? Over a year.

How helpful has the groom been (or not) in the planning process? He’s good at some stuff and then there are times that I want to choke him out because he doesn’t even remember the date of the wedding.  Everyone is gonna need to step their game up as we get closer…him too!

Are you trying to lose weight before the wedding?  How are you going about that?  What’s your goal?  Hell Yes! I’m a pageant girl if possible I know I can drop at least 5-10 in a week! BUT, that’s with drastic measures…I am kicking my own ass in the gym and cutting pretty much everything delicious out of my diet right now. LOL it sucks but being a fat bride would suck even more.  2 a day workouts probably the last few weeks for sure. My goal is about 10 more pounds.

Tell us about your In-Laws. How do you get along with them?  How does the groom get along with your parents?  I love Marlon’s family, I really lucked out in that area. I’m a lot to deal with and they do well with me so…It should work.

Tell us about your family. How have they been involved in the planning process?
Wow I love my family but man are we dysfunctional.  I am the only girl so I have to deal with over protective brothers and they are extreme! My mom is an awesome mess! We have a love/hate relationship…we are so much a like that we often clash. Mom is still raising kids so it’s hard to be soooo involved but it really hurts my feelings.  HELLO I AM HER ONLY DAUGHTER! Me and dad have a complicated relationship. I love him but rarely like him. As of now I am not sure what if any role he will play in my wedding.

Who are your most/least favorite celebrity brides and why?As an entertainment reporter I will say that celebrity brides suck because they make the rest of us look mediocre. BUT, if I had to pick I would say Meagan Fox because she did it cheap on the beach with Brian Austin Green and no one else. After planning this and developing a whole new level of stress, eloping doesn’t seem so bad LOL.  I think Katy Perry is adorable and probably was an astonishing bride, but she should be punched in the face for marrying Russell Brand…ewww! And obviously if Brangelina would just make it official all would be right with the world!

What’s been your biggest stress since you started planning the wedding? The guest list for sure! Holy hell I didn’t know we knew so many people. It’s driving me insane. And I don’t want randoms at my wedding so I don’t want everyone to bring a date…I mean everyone is gonna know everyone, so if you are truly single can’t you just come with the rest of the girls instead of bringing random match.com guy? This part of the process sucks badly.

How do you typically handle stressful situations in regards to your wedding? I am the meltdown queen, in the radio studio at work, on the phone with my mom, to Marlon, to my foster sisters, to my gay hairdresser Andy, to anyone who will listen. I am an emotional basket case regularly but this wedding has made me 10 times worse.

Tell us any dilemmas or stressful moments regarding the below details of the wedding. What happened? How was it resolved?

Location- the reception venue has changed sooooo many times and I have had to stalk down the people in charge and redo everything. Unbelievable.

Dress- I ordered one and when I got it, it was nothing like I expected! You can’t just deal with your wedding dress you must feel like a princess so I had to get another that made me feel that way.

Budget- Trying so hard not to get out of control, it is a constant struggle

Flowers-I want sunflowers badly but people think they will clash! I DON’T CARE! The remind me of my grandmother who passed away and she should be represented! And IT’S MY WEDDING!

The Groom- He can barely remember the date so there is a possibility he may not show up LOL. Drives me crazy, it’s only our wedding!

Wedding Party: These chicks are a hot mess, the boys I can control, but oh man they’re constantly MIA and I really need them to be all about me right now! Not to mention my MOH is losing too much weight and I refuse to look fat standing next to her!

What’s the story of how you got engaged?
Marlon took me to his home of Saint Lucia. It was amazing! I didn’t know he was proposing because my best friend said he wasn’t and I believed her (he knew not to tell her) We were there a few days and he completely stopped talking to me (nerves I guess). I was so confused. The whole day not a word. Then late that night he’s like we’re going to dinner. I think like pizza but he comes in all dressed up. I’m like oh like real dinner. I’m a little mad like oh now you want to hang out LOL. We go to this beautiful restaurant and they bring out a welcome to the island present and I toss it aside and he’s like you can open it now. I do and it’s box after box that get smaller. Last box had the ring. He’s on his knee and says, “ I loved you the first day, and I would have married you on the third.” Of course I said yes. Then a man with a clarinet and his family came out the bushes and we hugged it out to "Have I told you lately that I love you". Amazing!!!!

What do you love the most about your husband-to-be? He makes me laugh and he is the first person EVER that I have compromised with…I let a little bit of my stubbornness go for him. He is such a good person and he will be an amazing dad.

What does he love about you?
My ridiculousness, my love for the world and how I want to help people.

What’s your biggest pet peeve about your husband to be? He doesn’t always say how he feels and it drives me crazy.

When you disagree, what is it usually about, and how do you handle it?
Usually me needing more attention and him playing Call of Duty or Madden too much. I hate those stupid video games!!!! It takes some arguing and a little negotiating and we get through it.

Has the engagement/wedding ever been called off, or in jeopardy?
If so, what happened and how did it get resolved? I was an asshole once and called it off on facebook…total low blow but I was mad. I can’t even remember what I was mad at now.

In what ways have you shown Bridezilla behavior during the wedding planning? In what ways have I not is more the question.  I am a total mess. Those women who say this process is supposed to be fun are lying, flat out lying. This is not fun, it is stressful and somehow the nice person you used to be is taken over by a demon.  That’s where I am at now. I am an emotional wreck, demanding, rude…If I wasn’t me, I would hate me.

Who tends to bring out the Bridezilla behavior in you?
My mom and best friend because I had super high expectations for how active they would be in this process and they are not living up to those expectations at all.

When things aren’t going your way in regards to how you want your wedding, how do you handle it? I keep threatening to call the whole thing off.  This is stressful and I don’t have the support that I expected. I also cry a lot and then eat a lot and then get sad because I ate so much. Hot mess!
