Woodrow chose the rings. One evening we went to Jared’s. I knew he wanted to get married, but I had no idea that I was getting the ring that night. He went in to purchase the ring. Came out and open my door then got on one knee outside in the cold and snow and asked me to marry him. With tears in my eyes I said YES!!!!!!!!!!

How long have you been planning wedding?
1 year and 2 months

How helpful has the groom been (or not) in the planning process? He hasn’t done a thing but constantly has input about the wedding. He likes nothing but will not give me any ideas about anything. He can’t even explain to me why he doesn’t like whatever it is that he doesn’t like. JUST KNOW THAT HE DOESN’T LIKE IT!!!!!!!

Are you trying to lose weight before the wedding?  How are you going about that?  What’s your goal?
No I’m perfect just the way I am!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell us about your In-Laws. How do you get along with them?  How does the groom get along with your parents?
I love my future in laws who doesn’t. I get along great with them. They are Christians who share my same values. Sometimes!!!!! Woodrow get along with my parents great. He really doesn’t have a choice if he wants to marry me!

Tell us about your family. How have they been involved in the planning process? My family with my wedding is non-existence, just the way I love it!!! I do not, I stress, I do not want or need their help with anything. They are country and sometimes ghetto. A big NO THANK YOU!!!!

Have you or your groom been married before?  Any children? If so, what role will the kids play on the wedding day? This is our first marriage. He has a son and I have a daughter. Peyton is the flower girl and Jayden is the ring bearer.

Who are your most/least favorite celebrity brides and why? Every celebrity bride is my least favorite. They have the money to pay somebody to do the wedding planning and they aren’t stressed about ANYTHING really!!! They have these big expensive weddings that I unfortunately can’t have. I dislike them all!!!!

What’s the worst thing that could go wrong on your wedding day? The worst thing that can go wrong is that my wedding turns out to be ghetto, I will have people showing up who I did not invite eating and drinking something that they did not pay for. I do not want to go to jail on my wedding night. Or worse, my guests say they did not enjoy themselves.

What’s been your biggest stress since you started planning the wedding? My biggest stress would have to right now be the GROOM!!!! Woodrow Williams. He is very wishy washy. He has an opinion about everything and it is getting on my last nerves, whatever little that I have. One second he wants to be involved, then he doesn’t. He hates everything and I’m very annoyed with him right now. We are three months from the wedding and it’s too late to change it up now. Mr. Groomzilla!!!!!

How do you typically handle stressful situations in regards to your wedding? I have not found a good way to deal with it. Maybe I’ll have a bottle of wine or something. When I vent about it I feel 1000xs better. So that’s how I cope, I vent!!!

Tell us any dilemmas or stressful moments regarding the below details of the wedding. What happened? How was it resolved?

Cake: I have changed my cake about 3 times now. It’s stressful because I can’t figure out what I want. Every time I change something on my cake I add more money to our budget.

Location: At first Woodrow did not like the venue but he doesn’t have a choice right now.

Date: Woodrow said that I picked a random date that doesn’t have any meaning to it. But oh well we are getting married March 5. It’s resolved because I said so.

Dress: Please do not get me started on my dress. I ordered my dress in June. The owner told me it would take 3 months to come back. I still DO NOT HAVE MY DRESS!!! Issue not resolved !!!!! ugh!!! Then my parents, because they are paying for the dress, are making a big deal because I want a white dress. That alone pissed me off. I can wear whatever dress I want to wear. They lucky I didn’t go with the red dress like I started too. So I settled for a pearl color dress. As close to white I’ll get I guess.

Budget: We are a little over budget. There are certain things that I must have. That issue will be resolved once the wedding is over …probably!!!

Flowers: My flowers were horrible a few months ago. I can’t even begin to describe it. I made her do them over and now they are fab!!!!

The Groom: He has just stressed me out all around about everything. I guess it will never get resolved because we are getting married!!! YAY!!!

Wedding Party: My wedding party has not done a thing. I guess they are just waiting on the day to roll around. They don’t call and ask if I need anything or if I need help. Issue not resolved!!

In-Laws: I love them !!!! No issues here.

Family: Everybody in my family wants an invite and that will not happen. I don’t care if they get mad about it or not, they are not coming. I resolved that issue by not sending them an invite. NO GHETTO PEOPLE ALLOWED AT MY ELEGANT WEDDING!!!

What’s the story of how you got engaged?
I have known Woodrow since Pre-K. We lost touch after high school in 2001. He requested to be my friend on Facebook in 2009. I accepted. I was dealing with a lot from a past boyfriend and I was tired and fed up with men. One day I post on FB that I was hungry and being that fat person that Woodrow is (lol) he responded on my post and we fell in love from there. December 17, 2009 we made our relationship official from only dating a month. January 2010 he asked me to marry him. And here we are!!

What do you love the most about your husband-to-be?  What I love most about Will (Woodrow) is that he is a very passionate person. Where I lack he is strong. He is very caring and nurturing. Will is a family man and takes care of me and home. He is an individual and all mines.

What does he love about you? He loves that I am an independent woman. I’m strong, sexy, intelligent, and have a great personality. He can’t live without me. I complete him he completes me. GO US!!!!

What’s your biggest pet peeve about your husband to be? My biggest pet peeve with Will is that he doesn’t know when to shut up. He always has an opinion about everything. I always tell him to watch what he says to people. Sometimes it’s not what you say but how you say it.

When you disagree, what is it usually about, and how do you handle it? We always disagree about his smart mouth. He thinks he knows everything. After I let him know that it’s very clear that he doesn’t know everything, we talk about it, clear the air, then make it up, .

Who tends to bring out the Bridezilla behavior in you?  Why? Will brings out the Bridezilla in me. He talks when I’m not asking him anything. He likes to irritate me for some unknown reason. I think he gets a kick out of it. I don’t know how many times I can say to him that his opinions do not matter to me. He doesn’t care though.

When things aren’t going your way in regards to how you want your wedding, how do you handle it? I pout, scream, curse, may even throw something. Then I get my way!! I will even go as far as shedding a few tears. As long as I get my way I’ll do whatever it takes.
