The couples unleash years of pent up rage when they face their inner demons, resulting in a jaw-dropping injury. A crushing revelation pushes Tami and Reggie’s relationship to the brink. Show Full Recap
With just two days left, the couples still aren’t feeling secure in their relationships. Kendra doubts that Hank can be strong enough to pull through everything and Jim has to step in to stop the couple from completely falling apart. Then, directors Jim and Elizabeth split the couples into two groups where each person is given a wooden paddle and is asked to write down their biggest insecurities. One by one, each person takes a turn fighting themselves by using the paddle to hit a punching bag as they unleash their inner most demons. This exercise brings out years’ worth of pent up rage in every one, but for Hank most of all. Hank uses so much force that his club snaps in half and hits Jim square in the face. The jaw-dropping injury has Jim and Hank in tears, as they come to the realization of how much pain Hank has kept buried inside. The couples are then asked to write down what their deal breakers would be in their relationships. Jim and Elizabeth fear that Tami and Reggie might be avoiding the baby discussion. Once again, everyone is having doubts about whether or not they will be able to work things through before their time is up at Boot Camp. Jeff and Jordan expected happier challenges throughout their time there and Travis is fed up with crying during every challenge. After sundown, the couples meet the directors by the lake in front of a bonfire for the final drill of the day. The couples present their paddles to their mates, as they expose their insecurities and reveal their deal breakers. The couples are then instructed to throw their paddles into the bonfire to get rid of their former selves. While opening up to each other, Tami is shocked to hear that Reggie thinks he’s a womanizer and she confesses to Reggie yet again that she might not want to have another baby. The night ends with Tami questioning Reggie, as she feels that secrets of infidelity are being kept from her.
