Many were stunned by Angela’s jaw-dropping news that she was indeed pregnant, but this week on The Real she finally addressed all the questions about her virginity. She said she had plans to wait, but meeting the man of her dreams changed everything. "Well you know what, I had a plan," she said. "The plan didn’t work out, and you can’t always plan everything. You know, I met the love of my life and we got engaged. I waited until twenty-eight. I mean, I really wanted to wait, and it just so happens, it happened within that first little boom."
Simmons revealed telling her father, Rev Run, about her bundle of joy made her nervous because she felt like she let him down, but his demeanor made it easy. It meant a lot to her when he welcomed the news with open arms.
Co-host Adrienne Bailon got right to the heart of the matter by asking how Simmons lost the baby weight so fast. Angela explained, "I worked out my whole pregnancy, so that really helped. As soon as my doctor gave me the clearance in like two weeks to do it, I’m like okay, I’m going to work out. So, I started my yoga."
She added that friends and family were still worried about her working out while pregnant despite the doctor's blessing: "They were so nervous when I was going to the gym. They were like 'why are you doing that? You’re going to kill the baby. Oh, my Gosh!'" Despite the AMAZING snap back WE have seen so far, she says she is still working on it.
After her Q&A, Angela got to flex her interviewing skills when chatting with actor Tony Cox about his friendship with the King of Pop!
#Repost @therealdaytime ・・・ Wednesday on #TheReal, Tony Cox opens up about his friendship with Michael Jackson. They worked together, but he never gave him call. Find out why, in this clip! Be sure to tune in tomorrow for more with the @BadSantaMovie star.
