Newly revealed hottie, and star of Mama June: From Not to Hot, June Shannon has been hitting the press trail this week! She opened up to Entertainment Tonight about whether or not she has made amends with her ex, Mike ‘Sugar Bear’ Thompson. WE have seen the tension between the two on the show, along with some shade from his fiancée Jennifer thrown in for good measure.

Mama June revealed that she started her weight loss journey as a way of getting back at her ex…

"I wanted to also show Sugar Bear, he really made me feel like s**t [and] I wanted to show him, 'Hey, I can do [whatever] I want to do'… I wanted to show him, like, I am actually worth it."

The couple went their separate ways in 2014 after a visit to Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars where Sugar Bear’s secrets kept bubbling up to the surface. According to June, his new relationship with Jennifer is what motivated her to shed the pounds. But, now that the weight is gone, and she’s a size 4, Mama June couldn’t care less about what Sugar Bear thinks.

June revealed that the tension WE see on the show is actually worse in real life. She also says Sugar Bear hasn’t been in touch with their daughter, Alana much. “He has nothing to do with Alana,” she explained.

As for June's dating life? She revealed she doesn’t have any interest in finding new love, because meeting genuine men has been a tough ordeal. “I gave it up. It isn’t worth it,” she shared. “There’s jerks and douchebags and you never know who is gonna be here for you.”

WE can’t wait to see if she found a date for Sugar Bear’s wedding…that is, if she gets to go!
