Last week, Mama June shocked the world. This week, she left Sugar Bear speechless when she showed up at his wedding to Jennifer in a sizzling, size four, red dress!

Once Sugar Bear picked his jaw up off the floor, he and June were able to set aside their differences and talk about what’s most important to both of them, Alana. Even though Sugar Bear was able to talk things out and move forward, Jennifer was seething over June being in her house.

Jennifer was counting on June losing her cool once she saw that her estranged family had been invited to the wedding, but what she didn’t count on was a brand new June, both inside and out. June kept her head high as she walked into the tent and took her seat next to her date - and, side note, WE were so impressed by how well Kenya cleans up! And, after the kiss heard round the world, June wished the newlyweds well before quietly heading home. Well done, June. WE are so proud of you!

Here are a few ways that you can learn from June and motivate yourself this week.

1. ALWAYS BE THE BIGGER PERSON.

June put her own feelings aside this week because she knew how much being the flower girl in Sugar Bear’s wedding meant to Alana. Being the bigger person is never easy, but it pays off in the end. Alana got to walk her dad down the aisle, and June got the last of her baggage off her chest.

2. REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE ENOUGH!

June worked hard to get to where she is now, both physically and mentally. One of the things she realized was that she didn’t need a man to escort her to Sugar Bear’s wedding. She knew that her presence alone was going to have a huge impact (although WE thought it was super sweet of Kenya to take her!). You are amazing on your own, and don’t need anyone to complement you.

3. WEAR THE DRESS.

As hard as June was willing to work, she never expected to be able to fit into that red dress. And, while it was probably too fancy for a backyard wedding (she totally upstaged the bride), June owned it! If you’ve hit your goal, own it. Wear the dress! You’ve worked hard and you deserve to look and feel your best no matter what.
