On last week’s episode of Growing Up Hip Hop, Egypt went behind Pepa’s back and read her tell-all book which tells of the abuse she received from her ex, Treach. Egypt was crushed at how little she really knew of her parents’ past. She decided that she was going to confront her father and demand an apology on Pepa’s behalf, but when Egypt sat down to talk with her dad, she only became more confused.

Treach owned up to having some physical altercations when he and Pepa were together, but also claims that he left before things spiraled out of control. He claims that Pepa’s version of events have been grossly exaggerated to make him look like the bad guy. And while Treach acknowledged that he’s no angel, he insisted that he’s no demon. At the end of their conversation, both Egypt and her father were in tears.
